Niche in the Nook
Pam Chase has a wonderful little shop in a converted horse barn. The shop is two floors of rug hooking supplies. She has complete rug hooking kits, classes and a weeklong retreat. The Ontario Hooking Craft Guild:

The Ontario Hooking Craft Guild was formed in 1966 to encourage excellence of craftsmanship in the art of rug hooking, to foster an awareness of beauty in color and design, and to provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas and information among members of the Guild. In 1972, the Teachers’ Branch was formed, where a member can pursue certification as an O.H.C.G. Teacher. A newsletter was developed to report on executive meetings each year and coming events. It also brought news from the various rug hooking branches that had formed throughout the province.
