I was born in New York City, went to college in New England, lived in California and New York before moving to the Appalachian mountains in North Carolina where I have lived for 32 years. Now I am immersed in the craft culture including rug hooking, dyeing, spinning, knitting and weaving. I teach rug hooking locally and attend Southeastern Teacher_
s Workshop annually in Asheville, NC. I am a member of a cooperative craft shop in Boone, NC called Hands Gallery where I sell my rug hooking and other fiber art.
